Ashley was birthed at San Clemente California on the 10th February 1987. Ashley first began surfing at age 5 before she moved to Hawaii. When she was 6 she took home a prize in a surf contest with a run-down surfboard that she found within a dumpster outside the house. The year was 2005 when she began surfing. She won her very first competition at the age of six. By the age 7, she received sponsorship. She was born at San Clemente California, she later made the move to Hawaii. In addition, she won two National Scholastic Surfing Association Championships as well as her Professional Surfing Tour of America title. Ashley is the 2009 Pipeline Women's Pro winner in Hawaii.
