Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner became famous at the National Theatre. That same year, she released Her first album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the film. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her acting career successfully with a variety of roles between Broadway television and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she also has made an impact as an accomplished director on several well-known television series like Supernatural or The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained to Toronto since then.
